(Aurora, COLO) – The Graebel Movers, Inc., regional vice president and general manager, David Cox has announced two recent appointments at the Company’s service center in San Jose, California. Jake Moreno has been promoted to branch manager and Nick Blanchet has accepted this center’s operations manager position that was previously held by Moreno. 

With Graebel Movers, Inc. since 1998, Moreno has worked at the Graebel-owned and operated centers in the Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon markets. In addition to his most recent role as the San Jose operations manager since 2007, Moreno has been an origin and destination services crew member and warehouse manager.

According to Cox, “Jake Moreno’s talent and passion to provide cost-efficient relocation services of the highest caliber to our customers, when combined with our culture to provide career opportunities to our best and brightest has led to his prior promotions and today’s appointment to branch manager – a highly visible role today. As branch manager, Jake will shift his attention to sales and will be tasked with expanding the Graebel market share in global mobility and moving services in San Jose, Cupertino, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and throughout northern California.”

Relocating to San Jose, Nick Blanchet was the Seattle center’s facility manager. With Graebel for twelve years, Blanchet’s career began at the Graebel Minnesota-based center as an origin and destination services crew member. Following a series of promotions that included a Graebel local dispatcher, Blanchet was promoted to facility manager and transferred to the Seattle center in 2009.
