GRAEBEL SUCCESSFULLY PASSES ISO 14001:2004 RE-ASSESSMENT

(Aurora, COLO USA) – Graebel International Movers, Inc., a division of the Graebel Companies, Inc. has successfully passed the routine re-assessment for the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System (EMS). In accordance with the certification process, the reassessment was conducted by an independent company. The ISO 14001 requires implementation of an Environmental Management System as defined by internationally recognized standards, and the ISO 14001 requirements include the establishment of an environmental policy, measurement of the environmental aspects and impacts, and documented, environmental objectives and measurable targets, and implementation to meet objectives and targets, along with corrective action, when needed and management review.
Graebel International Movers, Inc. has been continuously certified since 2007 and the 14001 standard embodies its commitment to eco-initiatives and new methods of conservation for its business practices.
In 2008, the Graebel Companies introduced a companywide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that is shaped by the United Nations’ model to protect people (human capital), planet (natural capital) and profits (economic environment).
