David W. Graebel

Chairman and Founder



In 1950, Mr. Graebel founded the company with one truck and a philosophy to provide unusual service and value to everyone served. Today, this organization is recognized as the world’s largest privately held relocation company. It is also the only organization that wholly owns its third party relocation and move management companies, a U.S. van line, international forwarding operation, coast to coast U.S. moving and storage centers and a commercial workplace services division.

Under Mr. Graebel’s leadership the organization has led the relocation industry in customer-centric innovations such as 24.7.365 customer service and account management accessibility, simplified tariffs and bundled service pricing, performance guarantees, best in class safety standards and Web-based technology featuring real-time reporting information as well as interactive relocation tools for clients’ transferring employees.

A board member of various corporations, Mr. Graebel is recognized for his strategic vision, business savvy and, philanthropic endeavors. Community, local and global business organizations have bestowed their highest honors and awards on him for his meritorious service. In 2008, The Moving and Storage Institute, at the annual AMSA conference, honored Mr. Graebel with its Lifetime Achievement Award for Distinguished Service.

Bill Graebel, SGMS

Bill Graebel

William (Bill) Graebel has been with the company since 1975, and has held diverse field and corporate positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, General Manager, Operations Manager, President of Graebel Movers, Inc. and, President of Graebel Van Lines, Inc. In 2004 he was elected Chief Operating Officer of the Graebel Companies, Inc. while continuing his leadership position as President of Graebel Movers International, Inc. a division of the parent company. The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Graebel to the Chief Executive Officer in 2007.

Mr. Graebel is responsible for the successful launch of the by-invitation-only international Graebel Relocation Alliance he is also recognized for the explosive client growth and service expansion of the third party company, Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, Inc.

Mr. Graebel’s vision to make the Graebel name an undisputed global brand representing highest quality relocation and workplace services contributed to becoming one of the first household goods providers to receive the C-TPAT designation for secure global supply chain management along with FAIM and ISO accreditations for the company’s international division.

Mr. Graebel is an active member of Denver, Colorado-area organizations focused on the family. He is on the Board of Trustees for the Denver Area Council of the Boy Scouts and sits on the Board of Directors for Colorado Uplift. And, is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Rocky Mountain Employee Relocation Council, and the Denver West Ski Club. A recognized industry expert, Mr. Graebel is frequently asked to speak around the world. Mr. Graebel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science from Colorado College, Colorado Springs, CO.

Brad Siler

Chief Financial Officer


Brad Siler

Brad Siler joined Graebel in 1995 as a corporate financial supervisor. Between 1995 and 2001, he was promoted several times to various accounting and finance positions, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in June 2001. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all finance, accounting, tax, internal audit, contracts and financial reporting. In addition, Mr. Siler oversees all the safety and risk management functions within Graebel, which leads the industry in overall safety and performance.

Mr. Siler is a CPA and CGMA with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. He served in various accounting roles with Pameco Corporation in Denver, Colorado, Gonzales Consulting Services, Inc. of Denver, and Pace Membership Warehouse in Denver prior to joining Graebel. Mr. Siler holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Colorado State University.

Ron Dunlap

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Information Officer


Ron Dunlap

Ron Dunlap has been with Graebel since January 2009, and was first hired as VP of Strategic Sourcing. Today, he serves as the organizations Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO).

As the COO, Mr. Dunlap is responsible for Graebel’s global operations, including client development and financial services, international and domestic household goods solutions, and vendor management. He also leads the Operational Excellence function which houses all critical disciplines related to the overall company performance.

As the CIO, Mr. Dunlap is responsible for the oversight of all Information Technology functions, including strategic technical solutions, and data security and privacy.

Prior to coming onboard, Mr. Dunlap spent nine years in global mobility at Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services where he oversaw diverse functional areas from IT, reporting, operations, client and vendor management, quality performance, and planning and analysis.

After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Dunlap earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wichita State University, and a Master’s and Doctorate degree in experimental psychology and statistics from Texas Tech University. Following graduation, he returned to government service as a research scientist for the Department of Defense.

George Bates

George Bates

George Bates joined Graebel in 2006 as a sales executive, and in 2011 became responsible for all sales in the western region, and in 2012 led the US moving sales team of 125 sales executives. In 2013, Mr. Bates was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales Strategy and today is responsible for new global client acquisition for all the services that Graebel provides

Mr. Bates and his experienced team have assisted many companies with improvements in their mobility programs. As a thought leader in the mobility industry, Mr. Bates was the creator of such innovations as the first corporate relocation blog and the industry’s most successful and well-regarded forum of sharing best practices and ideas among corporate mobility program managers at an international and local market level. He is proficient in base-lining and forecasting strategies around home sale/purchase programs, related mobility tax issues, transportation of household goods, cultural and destination services.

Prior to joining Graebel, Mr. Bates assisted many of the Fortune 1000 in developing programs that successfully measured and managed a variety of outsourced services. In the past 15 years, his programs have provided millions of dollars in cost savings and program enhancement in industries such as healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, hardware, software, internet services, retail, financial services and more.

Mr. Bates has been privileged to develop and implement partnerships with executives in finance, human resources, supply-chain and legal for two management consulting firms. He has been a speaker on cost reduction and process improvement for the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC). He holds the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS®) designation.

Mary Dymond

SVP of Human Resources


Mary Dymond

Mary Stoik Dymond joined Graebel in 2008, as an experienced senior management team member. She has a broad based knowledge of human capital management and risk management, with wide experience in multiple industries and in publicly-held, privately-held and family-owned organizations. Her executive experience over the past 15 years includes serving as Vice President, Human Resources & Risk Management for of Westmoreland Coal Company; Vice President Human Resources for Cenveo; and Vice President, Human Resources for ACX Technologies.

She oversees all human resource functions including: employee relations; fair employment issues; diversity management; total rewards, including benefits, wellness, and compensation; succession planning; labor relations; training; and organizational development.

Ms. Dymond is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors; the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM); the WorldatWork Association; and the Rocky Mountain Human Resources People and Strategy Society (“RMHRPS”). Her professional certifications are as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP); a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP); and as a Human Capital Strategist (HCS).

Ms. Dymond has a degree in history and German from the University of South Dakota. In addition she has completed graduate course work in corporate and securities law at Roosevelt University in Chicago; and in the advanced human resources program at the Anderson School of Management, UCLA.

Ms. Dymond was recently honored by Human Resources Executive magazine by being named one of the top five HR executives in the country in 2013.

Scott Snead

SVP of Commercial Services


Scott Snead

Scott Snead joined Graebel in 1998. He is responsible for the Graebel commercial brand and standards, senior leadership, vision, mission and operational excellence of Graebel’s domestic and international commercial service lines, including: healthcare, hospitality, workplace services, relocation services, furniture services, planning services, national/global accounts, government and military, logistics, warehousing and distribution.

Scott has over 30 years in workplace services management and was a senior executive in relocation management, furniture services, planning services, facilities management and logistics in the moving and storage and furniture industries. Scott has spent his previous 30 years as a change agent in the convergence of the furniture services and the relocation industries. Scott offers a unique knowledge of the synergies in the respective disciplines of relocations, logistics, furniture services and planning services and specializes in industry best practice implementations.

Richard Payne

Chief Risk and Compliance Officer


Richard Payne

Rich Payne has been with Graebel since 1994, starting as a claims adjuster within the Risk Management department. Mr. Payne has been promoted several times to numerous Risk Management and Safety positions, most recently being named Chief Risk & Compliance Officer in 2013. As the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, he is responsible for compliance across the organization, in addition to overseeing the Safety, Risk Management and Internal Audit departments, which include oversight of litigation, claims, insurance and loss control. During his tenure, Graebel has been recognized as the industry leader in Safety and Risk Management.

Mr. Payne has multiple professional designations including Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) with over 20 years of Risk Management and legal experience. Prior to joining Graebel, Mr. Payne served as a Legal Assistant within the Department of Labor for the State of Colorado. He has been a speaker on the topics of Safety, Risk Management and Transportation Litigation for many organizations, including the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) and the Council on Litigation Management (CLM). Mr. Payne has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Nebraska.

William Tehan

Corporate Counsel



William (Bill) Tehan works with Ruder Ware, and serves as Graebel’s corporate counsel, working with our account for over 20 years. Mr. Tehan practices primarily in the area of business and commercial law, focusing on corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, corporate finance transactions, construction contracts, and transactions involving software licensing and the internet. He has worked closely with privately and publicly held corporations in the transportation, health care, paper, forest and building products, food products, manufacturing, private investment, and service areas.

Mr. Tehan holds his bachelor of business administration as well as his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a member of American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Marathon Country Bar Association. In addition, he has held several committee positions within the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Mr. Tehan is a member of the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) and has served as a member of its legal advisory council since 2004; he has been a member of the Worldwide ERC® Public Policy Management Committee since 2008; in addition to numerous associations throughout several industries.

Dale Collins

Chief Innovation Officer & President of Global Transportation Service Divisions



Dale Collins is Graebel Companies’ first Chief Innovation Officer and President, Global Transportation Services Group. As CINO, ideation management leader, he is principally focused on breakthrough VOC (Voice of the Customer) innovations around the globe. Using the organization’s business principles as a foundation, Collins identifies and then develops strategies, new business opportunities, and technologies and processes for ongoing improvement. In keeping with the VOC, he heads a transformational business model with the Company’s global supplier network that will forever change the mobility industry aimed to improve clients and their assignees’ relocation experiences.

Prior to rejoining the Graebel team, Mr. Collins was CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Santa Fe Relocations Services for over eight years. He brings over 30 years of experience in the global relocation business and extensive knowledge of the international market place to Graebel.

Mr. Collins is the current Chairman of the Board for Worldwide ERC®, which is a paid-membership association that is focused on corporate and government mobility, and headquartered in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with offices in Belgium and China.

Mr. Collins earned a Master’s degree from Regent University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He has achieved the Worldwide ERC SCRP® and GMS® certifications. Collins has been an adjunct professor of business at Saint Xavier University and
is a past president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Abidjan.
