IVORY APPOINTED TO LEAD GRAEBEL EMEA CENTER IN PRAGUE

30-Year Relocation industry veteran, Benjamin Ivory, promoted to senior vice president and managing director of Graebel EMEA Center
(Aurora, COLO USA) – Today, Jim Petzel president of Global Services at Graebel has named Benjamin Ivory CRP, GMS to senior vice president and managing director at the Company’s EMEA center that is located in Prague, the Czech Republic. Reporting to Petzel, Ivory will be responsible for the management of the Prague Center’s staff that is accountable for the moving and relocation services that are performed for the Company’s Fortune 500 and global 100 clientele.
According to Petzel, “Both the Graebel and our clients’ presence throughout the EMEA region have expanded dramatically since the EMEA center was opened in 2008. This along with the need to accomplish our next stage of development it is incumbent for Global Services to place a senior leader onsite in this center. Having held executive positions within our organization for more than 3 decades, along with his reputation for excellence in the mobility industry worldwide, I can think of no one better suited for this position than Ben Ivory.”
Ivory joined Graebel in 1982 after having worked at his family-owned moving center, The Three Ivory Brothers in Michigan. Here, Ivory has held executive positions that have included general manager at Graebel American Movers, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois; regional vice president for Graebel Movers, Inc., and the sales and customer service senior vice president at Graebel Movers International, Inc. Most recently, as senior vice president Ivory has led the operational excellence team accountable for the oversight of customer enhancements to the organization’s international division household goods moving and storage services performed by the Company or by its extensive global supply chain network.
He holds a BS degree in Business Economics from Marquette, University and has earned each of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (WERC) Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP) and Global Mobility Specialist® (GMS) designations. Further, Ivory has served on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Movers and Warehousemen Association (IMWA), Board Chair of the Fédération International des Déménageurs Internationaux (FIDI) USA Section, and as the Chairman of the FIDI, FAIM Steering Committee.
