|(Aurora, COLO) – Graebel Movers International, Inc., president, Jim Petzel, has announced that Keith Mason and Debbie Milakis have joined the organization as director of network development and director of operations respectively this week. This announcement comes during the annual IAM conference that is being held in Denver, Colorado. Mason and Milakis will join the Graebel International management team, when the Company hosts four hundred IAM conference attendees during an open house at its World Headquarters in Aurora, Colorado the evening of September 13th.
According to Petzel, “Our exceptional year-over-year growth in international removals and forwarding has led to exciting career growth opportunities for our employees working in the Americas, APAC and in EMEA. At the same time our double-digit growth has opened the door for industry veterans such as Keith Mason and Debbie Milakis to join our team.”
Mason will report to vice president Graebel service center and network sales, Blair Hooper. Milakis will report to Charlie Kremer vice president strategic services.
With over seven years experience in the global mobility industry, Mason will lead the Graebel supplier network and business development activities in Canada. Most recently, he was vice president business development for an interactive company that offered services to the golf industry. Previously, Keith was manager of business development at Allied Van Lines and was recognized as its multi-year top business development performer.
Mason holds a Business Administration degree from Mount Royal College. He is an active member of the Calgary Executive Association where he served on its board of directors for two years.
Milakis is a 25-year international forwarding industry veteran with a broad background in ocean and air logistics and in tariff-based international services for Alaska, Canada and for the U.S. military. As operations’ director, Milakis will be accountable for superior customer service deliverables and for the seamless and cost-effective forwarding processes performed by the Company’s Americas–based operations for Graebel clients.
Prior to joining Graebel, Milakis was a co-founder of Relogistics Worldwide, Inc. based in Indiana. As its executive vice president and chief financial officer, she oversaw operations and was credited for the creation of that organization’s move management system. Earlier, she was with Mayflower International. During her eleven years there, Milakis was its Alaskan coordinator, manager of the Alaska division before her promotion to director of international operations.
Milakis holds a Bachelors degree from Purdue University. She is a past board member of the MANA Shipper’s Association.
