A much sought after speaker, Tommy Spaulding is the president of the Spaulding Companies, LLC, a national leadership development, speaking, training and executive coaching organization. He is also founder of the non-profit National Leadership Academy, the Global Youth Leadership Academy and Leader’s Challenge, a high school civic and leadership program in the state of Colorado. Spaulding has authored several provocative top-selling books that include, “The Heart-Led Leader: How Living and Leading from the Heart Will Change Your Organization and Your Life”. This edition hit the New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling lists and was the #1 Amazon Business national best seller shortly after its publication by Penguin Random House in 2015.
Previously, Spaulding was recognized as the youngest ceo at Up With People, a non-profit organization. He was the Business Partner Sales Manager at IBM/Lotus Development and was a member of the Japan Exchange and Teaching program. He holds an honorary PhD in Humanities from the Art Institute of Colorado; an MA in Non-Profit Management from Regis University; an MBA from Bond University in Australia; and a BA in Political Science from East Carolina University. The latter honored Spaulding with the University’s first-ever ‘Leader in Residence in 2009’. Meetings and Conventions Magazine named Spaulding one of the Best Keynote Speakers in the nation in 2014.
